Alarm sirens sound at US Consulate in Erbil

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) – Alarm sirens were activated on Monday night at the US Consulate in Erbil, northern Iraq, amid rising tensions across the region following Iran’s missile strike on a US base in Qatar.
Earlier, Iraq’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned of the potential for a “broader confrontation” in the Middle East, expressing concern over escalating hostilities.
Iraqi security sources confirmed that, as of now, Iran has not targeted the main base hosting U.S. forces in Iraq.
